We are getting ready and eagerly awaiting our upcoming Veteran’s Day Program which is just around the corner! We hope you are able to join us November 10, 2022, when our Fourth graders will present selections of song, movement, poetry, and readings to honor our great heroes. For connivence there will be two identical performances at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Parents are welcome at either performance. If there is a veteran amongst your friends or family, please invite them so we may honor them. With many important upcoming practice and performance dates, please make sure that your student is at school on time so that we can begin all activities promptly. Additionally, practicing your student’s lines and songs with them at home will help them be successful. Please see the important information below regarding your child’s participation:
Thursday, November 10, 2022, 9:00 AM, Cafeteria
Thursday, November 10, 2022, 2:00 PM, Cafeteria
Please use these guidelines when selecting your child’s clothes for our program:
All students should dress in Red, White, and/or Blue, the fancier the better. Do not worry about purchasing anything unless you want to, but try to find something your student might already have in their closet. Blue Jeans are acceptable, but so is a dress or suit. It is up to your imagination!
Finally, be on the look out for information regarding our Whitcomb Wall of Honor. Closer to the day of our performances, you will receive information on how to honor a special Veteran in your life. We are excited to bring performances and music back to the stage, and honoring our Veteran’s is a fantastic way to kick off a great year.
We look forward to seeing you!
